Motorbike enthusiasts will be thrilled to learn that Bridgestone has recently enriched its adventure and motocross range with two new tires: the Battlax Adventure Trail AT 41 and the Battlecross X31. The result of intensive research, both products combine the Japanese company's experience with the most innovative technologies in the field of design and materials.
Battlax Adventure Trail AT41
The off-road looking Bridgestone Battlax Adventure Trail AT41 performs at its best in dry conditions, but does not neglect to guarantee adequate traction, grip and braking also on wet roads, thus ensuring a safe and comfortable ride in all weather conditions. Thanks to an optimized design and increased groove density in the footprint water is displaced efficiently which translates into better performance on wet roads. The Battlax Adventure Trail AT41's new tread blocks shape reduces partial shoulder wear, while the newly designed belt lends stability. The Bridgestone Battlax Adventure Trail AT41's touring compound - with 3LC used for the rear - also improves mileage in all conditions. This adventure road and trail tire will be available from February 2022 in nine sizes (four front and five rear), all with M+S marking.
Battlecross X31
The latest entry Battlecross X31 was developed and designed using Bridgestone’s newest technologies. This tire, according to the Japanese manufacturer, can reach higher speeds but still ensuring traction and grip. Bridgestone's Castle Block technology, which consists of shoulder blocks on the front tire and all blocks on the rear tire having a convex section to enhance traction by creating an extra edge effect. This technology allows for grip on slippery and uneven terrain, and the extra edge effect provides greater cornering grip and traction on different types of terrain. A new tread pattern, with an asymmetrical, low-profile block pattern, provides traction and broadens the spectrum of use. The redefined size and placement of the bunker grooves increase contact, grip and traction, with less tread stiffness. In addition, cooling fins on the sidewall of the Bridgestone Battlecross X31, create air turbulence through the sidewall protrusions to create a cooling effect over the surface of the tread. This leads to less degradation and consistent performance throughout the product’s service life. Bridgestone Battlecross X31 will be available in six sizes in the first quarter of 2022.
