Motorsport Expotech, the international exhibition and conference devoted to materials, technologies, products and services for high performance competition vehicles, returns to ModenaFiere on 2 and 3 February 2012.
The aim of the new edition is to present new ideas in the world of high performance vehicles in the car, motorbike, aircraft and kart sector, from design to subcontracting, from finished products to innovative materials. And all with an eye on the environment. Also begun is the international promotion campaign: "Promozione Modena Economica" - the operations branch of Modena Chamber of Commerce that supports the internationalization of companies in the territory - has organized a road show to promote the event with various exhibits and meetings with sector professionals and entrepreneurs at Professional Motorsport World expo in Cologne, Performance Racing Industry in Orlando, the International Motorsports Industry Show in Indianapolis, as well as a road show in the UK. The latter is held in collaboration with the Motorsport Industry Association. Meetings and promotional events are planned in Sweden, Russia and the Czech Republic, which represent some of the new emerging markets. Taking part in these appointments are various companies in the territory that will have the opportunity to meet other competitors on an international level.
The agreement between "Promozione Modena Economica" and ModenaFiere, the organizers of Motorsport Expotech, includes receiving at the show numerous delegations of operators from European countries and other continents who have already shown an interest in Motorsport Expotech. The Agency wants to make use of promoting the show also as a way of letting journalists and opinion leaders know about the riches of the Modena area (from the Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum to the track at Marzaglia, private collections and typical products).
The fourth edition of Motorsport Expotech will be enriched with a section linked to high-performance vehicles and engines, and ACI-CSAI Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana has already confirmed its presence as sponsor; during the two days, it will organize important appointments that will bring the teams, tuners and operators in all championships to ModenaFiere. Thursday, 2 February, will be the day on which the champions of the Campionato Italiano Velocità Montagna will receive their awards. On Friday, 3 February, the ACI-CSAI Awards for the Campioni dell'Automobilismo Sportivo 2011 will be presented. The second day of the show will also include the presentation of the main Italian circuit, track and rally Speed Championships 2012, which will bring teams, stables and the media who will receive the latest updates on regulations and the calendar of activities for the racing season in the following months. The Italian GT Championship, the Campionato Italiano Turismo Endurance, the Campionato Italiano Prototipi, Formula ACI-CSAI Abarth, Campionato Italiano Formula 3, and Rally will be presented along with other private sports programmes that are still at the optimization stage. "A shared philosophy links CSAI and Motorsport Expotech: investing in the future", said Marco Ferrari, secretary general of ACI-CSAI. "On the one side there is us, the sports branch of a club that has about one million members and is constantly open to finding new formulas, innovative projects, routes that give our young people a present and, more importantly, a future. On the other side, Motorsport Expotech is an international exhibition and conference that is growing by investing in technological research, the use of innovative materials, and everything linked to the design of high performance engines and competitions".
Other authoritative partners such as Aica (Italian Garage Equipment Manufacturers' Association), Airp (Italian Retreaders' Association), Assoruote (Italian Wheel Manufacturers' Association) and Federpneus (Italian Tyre Specialists' Association), confirm the B2B character of the show.
