New specifications for LTH 110 materials

The AIRP executive committee has approved the new specifications for materials suitable for LTH 110 retreading which adapt the previous LTH 100 specifications to technological progress. It is well-known that for many years the association has been committed to keeping the retreading process in step with technical developments.
This is the latest version of the specifications that since the Seventies have defined the physical and mechanical characteristics that rubber materials must possess in order to be declared suitable for retreading.
Once the official certification by a third party body has been received, the new specifications will be distributed as usual to bodies, fleets and municipal concerns.
AIRP has also carried out awareness-raising actions addressed to the offices of the Ministry of Transport to ensure increased product homologation checks during vehicle inspections.
