Following the success of the first two editions, held in March and June 2017 respectively, the third Automotive Digital Manager Master Course - a training program dedicated to developing managerial roles and skills in business and marketing areas - will run during the Autumn season, taking up the digital challenge, taking full advantage of the ever-evolving business potential offered by the Web.

The course, successfully launched by ANFIA-Aftermarket in collaboration with MotorK Italia (a company that is innovating the entire European automotive sector thanks to its technological leadership), has 7 modules and will end with an Automotive Digital Manager Certification Exam. Among the different topics being addressed we find website monitoring and metrics, how to plan online advertising campaigns to attract potential customers, social media strategy and digital reputation as well as database management, e-mail marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Mobile business. These are digital skills, customer relationship management, essential soft skills, if you think that in 2016 in Italy alone, there were 39.21 million internet users, 31 million active social media users, 104.6 million mobile contracts and 41 million active social media users from mobile devices (source: Digital in 2017 developed by We Are Social and Hootsuite).

Participation to these events were guaranteed by employees from 16 different companies who received their Certified Automotive Digital Manager Award during the 27th edition of Autopromotec.

The training project, which is a key part of the automotive after-sales digital transformation, will resume in Turin with a new group of candidates. Sessions, as always, will relate to most of the market’s hottest issues, including mobile connectivity to corporate sites and the ability to promote innovative ideas and products through social media channels.

"We have the utmost confidence in this master course as it promotes and enhances a new figure, the Digital Manager, which already represents an essential resource for the development of a modern company, and will prove to be increasingly strategic in the future," was the comment from Paolo Vasone, coordinator of ANFIA- Aftermarket, as well as Head of Field Training Subjects.

In a world where being online with the right digital project is an absolute must, we really need to go back to school and learn how to best cope with this fascinating new challenge.
